"I have over 30 years of experience in the international sports business sector. During my tenure, I was part of the global leadership team that grew the IRONMAN Group from nine to over 150 events worldwide from 1998 to 2024, and the UTMB World Series to 39 events between 2022 and 2024."
My expertise ranges from organic or acquisition based growth to expansion through license contracts and building and leading international teams.

He expanded the B2Run corporate running and developed series in Europe and a series of ten 10km road running events in major cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and others.
In partnership with Infront Sports & Media and IRONMAN
He established and led a team in Beijing to plan and organise the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 events in China's Hefei, Xiamen and Liuzhou in 2016 and 2017.

In 2017, he rejoined the IRONMAN Group to take on the role of Head of Operations (2017) and Managing Director EMEA (2018 to 2021).

While IRONMAN experienced tremendous growth in the number of events and participants across EMEA in the early years of his new role, his focus shifted to keeping the team on board and the brands/events alive during the CV-19 pandemic.
